Youth Outreach

Since 2013, SAPNA has been involved in building capacity and empowering Grade 12 learners by providing much needed Career Guidance, Life Skills, Motivation and Mentorship that will see learners make a success of high school and transition into tertiary.

In the interest of sustainable community development, SAPNA in collaboration with Nzalo Careers have partnered with key stakeholders to present this programme with a more holistic approach. The SAPNA Annual Learner Development & Mentorship Programme is a three phased learning intervention which guides and supports the development of learners to ensure sustainable growth.

The curriculum of the programme has been carefully put together based on the development needs and challenges faced by learners, designed to improve the confidence and career knowledge of learners by incorporating Career Guidance, Life Skills, Motivation and Mentorship under the following topics:

  • Self-Development

Improved knowledge and understanding of who you are

  • Career Exploration

Learner exploration, opportunity matching through introduction of various career and business opportunities and facilitation of learner Q&A

  • Career Management

Learner career action plans and exam preparation
